Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov was received by H.E. İsmail Kahraman, Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of the Republic of Turkey.
In the framework of his official contacts in Ankara, the Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov was received by H.E. İsmail Kahraman, Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of the Republic of Turkey, in his office on 19 August 2016.
Secretary General Hasanov expressed his sorrow to Chairman Kahraman for the Grand National Assembly was targeted by terrorist attacks during the coup attempt perpetrated in the Republic of Turkey on 15 July 2015. He further expressed his sadness about the continuing terrorist attacks taken place in Turkey nowadays. Secretary General Hasanov also stated that the Turkic Council would always be in shoulder to shoulder with the Republic of Turkey and its people while emphasizing with confidence that the solidarity among the Turkic States and Turkic people will continue to increase.
The Chairman of the Grand National Assembly H.E. İsmail Kahraman expressed his gratitude to Secretary General Hasanov for his visit and thanked for the cooperation and support given by the Turkic Council. He also indicated that the support given by the Republic of Turkey to the Turkic Council since its establishment will continue.
The Deputy Secretary General of the Turkic Council Dr. Ömer Kocaman and Chief of Protocol Emre Yurdakul accompanied to the Secretary General during the meeting.
