Secretary General of the Turkic Council Baghdad Amreyev met with the Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh (Parliament) of the Kyrgyz Republic, H.E. Dastanbek Dzhumabekov.

Secretary General of the Turkic Council Baghdad Amreyev met with the Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh (Parliament) of the Kyrgyz Republic, H.E. Dastanbek Dzhumabekov.
Within the framework of his official visit to Bishkek, Secretary General Baghdad Amreyev met with H.E. Dastanbek Dzhumabekov, the Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic on 3 October 2019.
B. Amreyev congratulated the Speaker on the occasion of the Turkic Cooperation Day as well as the 10th anniversary of the Turkic Council and gave information on the work achievements gained by the Turkic Council since its foundation.
 Secretary General also touched upon the enlargement of the Turkic Council with Uzbekistan’s membership and opening of the Representation Office in Hungary and the momentum that these signifacant developments will give to the cooperation efforts in the region. 
B. Amreyev expressed appreciation to Jogorku Kenesh for continuous support given to the Turkic Council in enhancing multiletarel relations among the Turkic Speaking States and emphasized on the importance of parliamentary diplomacy in furthering cooperation among the member countries. 

Congratulating Secretary General for the fruitful and successful work he has carried out during the Chairmanship-in-Office of Kyrgyzstan, Speaker of the JogorkuKenesh Dastanbek Dzhumabekov expressed his pleasure to meet with the Secretary General on this historical day, marking the 10th anniversary of signing of Nakhchivan Agreement, which is celebrated as the Cooperation Day of Turkic Speaking States.
H.E. Dastanbek Dzhumabekov also expressed his satisfaction with the progress made by the Turkic Council in its 10 years, especially during the last one year period.
Speaker H.E. Dzhumabekov expressed his confidence that the Secretary General will successfully continue to provide a fertile and sustainable ground for the realization of all the tasks of the Organization.
