During the visit, the Parties discussed the prospective activities in the framework of the Turkic University Union (Union), the chairmanship of which has passed to Khoja Akhmet Yassawi University at the Third General Assembly of the Union held on 19 April 2018 in Bishkek. Parties also discussed the steps towards enhancing the capacity of the Orkhun Exchange Program, as well as the ways to engage the projects currently being implemented by the Turkic Council in the field of youth and sports with the similar activities carried out within the Union.
At the end of the visit Chairman of the Board of Trustees Yıldız presented the new publications of the university dedicated to the Turkic World to the Secretary General.
The Secretary General thanked his guests for the visits and presented plaques in memory of the meeting.
Deputy Secretary General Dr. Ömer Kocaman, Project Directors Zhyldyz Uzakova and Ali Çiviler also attended the meeting.
