Secretary General of the Turkic Council met with Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan.
Secretary General of the Turkic Council Baghdad Amreyev started his working visit to Nur-Sultan on 2 September. 

Today the Secretary General met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan H.E. Mukhtar Tileuberdi. 

The Kazakh Minister welcomed the Secretary General and expressed his satisfaction with the diligent and meticulous work of the Turkic Council and restated the full support of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Secretariat in all its efforts. 
He also noted the ongoing efforts of the Turkic Council in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

Secretary General Amreyev conveyed his appreciation for the strong support and valuable contributions that Kazakhstan extended in the activities of the Turkic Council. 

Parties discussed the current state of cooperation mechanisms within the framework of the Turkic Council and efforts in preparation and the agendas of the annual summit of the Heads of States of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States, which is planning to be held this fall, as well as regular meeting of foreign ministers. 

The Secretary General also met with the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs H.E. Shakhrat Nuryshev. Deputy Minister and Secretary General exchanged views on the pressing topics on the agenda of the Organization and ongoing multilateral cooperation among the Member States as well as agendas of the upcoming summits and ministerial meetings of Turkic Council. 

Parties also reviewed the current efforts for the establishment of the Joint Investment Fund of the Turkic Council and discussed the further steps for enhancing multilateral economic cooperation among member states.
