Minister Jabbarov welcomed Secretary General Amreyev and appreciated the role of the Turkic Council in strengthening the economic relations among the Turkic Council Member States through advancing cooperation in various sectors of economy.
Stressing the need for further development of trade and economic cooperation between Turkic Council Member States, the Secretary General and the Minister conducted a detailed discussion on the agenda of the 10th Meeting of Ministers in Charge of Economy of the Member States to be held on 10 October 2021 in Baku.
A special attention was paid to the establishment of the Turkic Investment Fund aimed at supporting small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and facilitating the implementation of various investment projects.
Secretary General and the Minister highlighted that Business Forum to be organized in the framework of the 10th Meeting of Ministers in Charge of Economy will contribute to the process of restoration, re-building, and development of Karabakh and lay down a solid basis to furthering trade and investment among our Member States.
Parties also touched upon various topics of multilateral cooperation outlining the further steps to strengthen and encourage investment, intra trade, and economic cooperation within the Turkic Council.
