Secretary General of the Turkic Council met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic
Secretary General of the Turkic Council, Baghdad Amreyev had a meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic H.E. Ruslan Kazakbaev on the sidelines of his participation to Antalya Diplomacy Forum on 18 June 2021.
Secretary General and Foreign Minister exchanged views on the outcomes of the first visit of H.E. Sadyr Zahaparov President of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Turkey, which has taken place on 9-11 June 2021.
Minister R. Kazakbayev shared with Secretary General the latest developments on the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border. Secretary General reiterated his support to the efforts taken by the Kyrgyz Government for the just and final settlement of the border dispute and stressed that the Turkic Council Member States will provide necessary aid for the rehabilitation of social and cultural sites that were affected by the conflict.
Parties also talked over other important issues on the agenda of the Organization including the preparations for the upcoming Summit, upcoming high-level meetings as well as the ongoing endeavors for the establishment of the Turkic Investment Fund.
