Secretary General of the Turkic Council received the Ambassador of Hungary 
Secretary General of Turkic Council, H.E. Baghdad Amreyev received the Ambassador of Hungary to Ankara, H.E. Viktor Matis who paid courtesy visit to the new Headquarters of the Turkic Council Secretariat on 19 November 2020 in Istanbul.
During the meeting Ambassador congratulated Secretary General and Secretariat staff with the new office building and wished success in all activities and work of the Turkic Council. Secretary General welcomed and highly appreciated Ambassadors’ visit and indicated that he was the first Ambassador to visit the new premises of the Secretariat of Organization.  He highlighted the important role of Hungary, the Observer state of the Turkic Council in consolidating cooperation and deepening friendly relations among the Member States.
B. Amreyev and V. Matis exchanged views on the new strategy of the Turkic Council for the years 2020-2025 and ongoing process of cooperation among its Member States. They expressed the sincere belief that the brotherly ties between the Turkic Council and Hungary and the partnership and cooperation built on solid institutional foundations will continue to strengthen in the years ahead. 
Parties also exchanged views on regional and international affairs of mutual interest.
