Secretary General of the Turkic Council received the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Ankara
Secretary General of the Turkic Council; H.E. Baghdad Amreyev received the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Ankara, H.E. Abzal Saparbekuly, who paid a courtesy visit on 20 November 2020 to the new premises of the Turkic Council Secretariat in Istanbul.

While congratulating the Secretary General and Secretariat’s staff for the new building of the Turkic Council Secretariat, Ambassador Abzal Saparbekuly stated that as one of the most prominent historical buildings at the center of Istanbul perfectly reflects the significance of the Organization for the Turkic World and importance of its historical mission.

Ambassador emphasized his confidence that the new premises would serve as an invaluable hub for further successes of the Organization

Thanking the Kazakh Ambassador for this timely friendly visit, Secretary  General appreciated the great contribution of Kazakhstan in the activities of the Turkic Council that was established by the initiative the First President of Kazakhstan, Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbaev. 

B. Amreyev and A. Saparbekuly exchanged views on the ongoing efforts of the Organization to generate a closer cooperation and deeper integration among Turkic Council member countries.
