Secretary General of the Turkic Council, H.E. Baghdad Amreyev had a meeting with Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance of Kyrgyz Republic, H.E. Seyit Rysaliev during the 6th Meeting of the Ministers in Charge of Tourism of the Turkic Council, held on 24 June 2021 in Kokand, Uzbekistan.

Secretary General and Deputy Minister discussed the ways to create favourable conditions for increasing tourist flows to the Member States, mainly through increasing air and ground communications between the countries, introducing low-cost airlines, creating modern roadside infrastructure on the way to the tourism sites, developing digital, innovative and green technologies, as well as implementing joint projects.

They also underlined the significance of using the great potential of the World Nomad Games to develop the tourism sector, which would significantly increase the tourist demand.

Parties also discussed the agenda of the meeting of Ministers in charge of Economy of Turkic Council Member Sates planned to be held in Baku in July, as well as the ongoing efforts for the establishment of the Turkic Investment and Development Fund.
