Secretary General of the Turkic Council, H.E. Baghdad Amreyev had a meeting with Minister of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, H.E. Aktoty Raimkulova in the framework of the 6th Meeting of the Ministers in Charge of Tourism of the Turkic Council, which took place on 24 June 2021 in Kokand, Uzbekistan.

At the meeting, Parties commended the outcomes of the meeting of tourism ministers of Turkic World and expressed their hope that the upcoming period will witness a considerable development of the cooperation among the countries in this sphere. 

Emphasizing the importance of further expanding cooperation and experience-sharing to revitalize the tourism sector, Secretary General and Minister also highlighted that restoring international flights and increasing the number of flights between the major cities of the Member and Observer States are essential for the growing number of tourists visiting the countries.
