D.Kasseinov congratulated the Secretary General and the Secretariat staff with the New Year, as well as the 30th anniversary of the Turkic world.
The Secretary General of TURKSOY D.Kasseinov highly appreciated the work done by the Organization and stressed that the Turkic Council, as the main political body for cooperation in the Turkic world, has been actively contributing to strengthening solidarity and deepening relations among Member and Observer States in recent years.
In this regard, the Secretary General of TURKSOY presented the “Abay Medal” to B. Amreyev in recognition of his valuable contribution to the popularization of the great cultural and historical heritage of the Turkic peoples.
Thanking for the presenting of such a high award, the Secretary General expressed his gratitude to D.Kasseinov for the constant cooperation and active work of TURKSOY in the field of culture and art.
B.Amreyev and D.Kasseinov discussed general plans for the coming year. They also exchanged views on the main provisions prepared by the Secretariat; “Turkic Council Strategy 2020-25” and “Turkic World Vision-2040”, which lay out short and a long-term goals and perspectives as well as the strategy of cooperation among the Member States.
D.Kasseinov thanked B.Amreyev for allocating office space at the new Headquarters of the Turkic Council Secretariat, including TURKSOY, as well as other Turkic cooperation organizations.
