Secretary General participated in the 1st International Symposium on Kyrgyz - Turkish Relations from Past to Present
Turkic Council Secretary General Halil Akıncı and Project Manager Nurlan Suerkulov participated in the 1st International Symposium on Kyrgyz - Turkish Relations from Past to Present organized by Kyrgyzstan Friendship and Cultural Association, supported by the Presidencies of Turkey and Kyrgyzstan, in Bursa on 3-5 May 2013.

Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Ankara Mr. Ermek İbraimov, Concul General of Kyrgyzstan to Istanbul Mr. Mirlan Arstanbaev, President of National History Institute of Kyrgyzstan Prof. Dr. Tınçtıkbek Çorotegin, Head of Turkic States and Communities Application and Research Center (TÜDAM) Prof. Dr. Asım Yediyıldız, Bursa Culture and Tourism Director Mr. Ahmet Gedik, Governor of Yenişehir Mr. Süleyman Yılmaz, Deputy Mayor of Bursa Mr. Kamil Özbek as well as experts, historians, academics and senior government officials from Kyrgyzstan and Turkey  attended the Symposium.
