Secretary General participated in the 3rd General Assembly of the Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB).
The Union of Turkish World Municipalities is an organization (TDBB) established with the purpose of establishing cooperation with the countries and regions where the Turkish language and its dialects are spoken as well as local administrations and unions from places that have geographic, historical and cultural commonalities with them, providing support for their development and ensuring the preservation of the city heritage. TDBB has 1001 members from 16 countries.   

TDBB held its 3rd General Assembly in Istanbul on March 10, 2012. Secretary General of the Turkic Council Halil Akinci was invited to the meeting. Mr. Akıncı made a protocol speech and  gave information about the activities of the Turkic Council.
