Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States Baghdad Amreyev received Advisor-Speechwriter to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Khairitdin Sultanov, who paid a visit to the OTS Headquarters in Istanbul on 25 September 2022. 
Secretary General Amreyev highly appreciated Uzbekistan’s strong commitment and huge contribution to successfully promoting common interests and advancing shared goals of the Turkic World. 
Advisor-Speechwriter to the President underlined the efforts of the Secretariat under the leadership of Secretary General to implement the initiatives of the Heads of State put forward during the previous summits of the OTS.
During the meeting, Secretary General and Advisor-Speechwriter to the President exchanged views on the preparations for the upcoming OTS Summit to be held in November 2022 in Samarkand. 
Secretary General also emphasized that the upcoming Summit would serve as another turning point for strengthening multi-spectrum interaction and enriching the cooperation agenda of the Organization.  
Advisor Sultanov highlighted that the leadership of Uzbekistan attaches great importance to the upcoming summit, which would be the first summit of OTS to be held in Uzbekistan. 
B. Amreyev and Kh.Sultanov also exchanged views on some of regional and international topics of mutual concern.
