On 6 March 2024, within the framework of the inaugural meeting of Heads of National Transport Associations of the Member and Observer States, H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) received Mr. Sanjar Pulatov, Chairman of the Association of International Road Carriers of Uzbekistan.
During their meeting, the parties engaged in a comprehensive discussion regarding the challenges and opportunities encountered by the private sector in the transportation industry.
They also exchanged insights on strategies to enhance regional transport connectivity and streamline transport and transit procedures, with particular emphasis on the regional transport corridors traversing the territories of OTS Member States.
