On 6 March 2024, within the framework of the inaugural meeting of Heads of National Transport Associations of the Member and Observer States, H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) received Mr. Turkmen Bootaev, President of the Association of International Road Transport Operators of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The Parties emphasized the importance of concentrating efforts on tangible projects with practical outcomes aimed at implementing the instructions of the Heads of State and the provisions outlined in the Action Plan for the Transport Connectivity Program, which was adopted during the recent Astana Summit.

The Parties also engaged in discussions on measures necessary for facilitating transport and transit operations along the transport corridors and stimulating national carriers.
