On the occasion of his visit to Hungary, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev paid a visit to the tomb of Gül Baba in Budapest and held a meeting with the member of the Council of Elders (CoE) from Hungary, Mr. Attila Tilki.

During the visit, Secretary General received information about Gül Baba, visited the museum and the cultural centre and the surrounding historical remnants, which constitute one of the oldest historical memories of Budapest.

Secretary General welcome the newly-appointed Hungarian Elder, Mr. Attila Tilki, for his joining in the CoE, who accompanied the Secretary General in his visit to the tomb where they have held discussions on the structure and upcoming activities of the CoE. Secretary General underlined the increasing significance of the CoE in the OTS after its structure was strengthened and its composition was renewed at the Istanbul Summit in 2021.

Hungarian Elder expressed his eagerness and commitment to contribute to the work of the CoE.
