On the margins of the 3rd Antalya Diplomacy Forum (ADF), on March 2, 2024, H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev, the Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) met with Professor Jeffrey D. Sachs, the Director of the Center for Sustainable Development and the Earth Institute at Columbia University.  
During the meeting, Professor Sachs highly appreciated the dynamic development of the OTS as a regional organization and noted the huge potential of the Turkic countries in all spheres. 
Both sides reaffirmed the importance of close cooperation between international organizations and academic circles and agreed to establish future cooperation in the fields of climate change, education, and sustainable development.
