Secretary General’s message for the Conference on the occasion of the 550th Anniversary of the Kazakh Khanate (29 September 2015, Budapest)
Secretary General Ambassador Ramil Hasanov issued a message for the Conference on the occasion of the 550th Anniversary of the Kazakh Khanate co-organized by the Turkic Academy and the Hungarian Academy of Sciences on 29 September 2015 in Budapest.

In his message, Ambassador Hasanov underlined the significance of this year which marks the 550th anniversary of the Kazakh Khanate and also the 5th anniversary of the establishment of the Secretariat of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States (Turkic Council), stating that the Turkic world is equally proud of both milestones. Moreover, he mentioned that the Fifth Summit of the Turkic Council was hosted last month by HE Nursultan Nazarbayev, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Elder of the Turkic world.

He also stated that it was a great pleasure to see that the brotherly people of Hungary also share this joyous occasion and that the Turkic Council is willing to increase its relations with Hungary, a country which already holds an observer status at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Turkic Speaking States (TURKPA).
