On the occasion of the 27th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Azerbaijan, on behalf of the Turkic Council and on my own, I would like to extend my most sincere congratulations to the brotherly people of Azerbaijan.

Since its independence, the Republic of Azerbaijan has made great strides in economic and social fields, become a factor of stability and peace in our region, and strengthened its bilateral and multilateral cooperation with the Turkic speaking countries.

Being confident of its bright future, I wish unity, solidarity, peace and prosperity for the Republic of Azerbaijan and for the whole Turkic world.
