The Secretary General of the Turkic Council Baghdad Amreyev expresses his deep concern over the events following the recent parliamentary elections in the Kyrgyz Republic and calls on all political groups and the citizens of Kyrgyzstan to refrain from all kinds of violence and act in the interest of restoring political and social stability in the country.
Turkic Council Member States believe that the brotherly Kyrgyz people and government institutions in the country will be able to settle all the disagreements within the framework of the Constitution and national legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic. 
Kyrgyzstan, being a founding member of the Turkic Council is an important factor in the regional security of Central Asia and integration processes within the Turkic World. We hope that Kyrgyzstan will continue its contribution to the expansion of cooperation among Turkic States.
The Turkic Council follows the developments closely and stands ready to extend all kinds of support to the brotherly people of Kyrgyzstan in their quest for peaceful, independent development and prosperity.
