17th Meeting of the Senior Officials Committee (SOC) of the Turkic Council has started on 8 September in Astana within the framework of preparations to the Turkic Council 5th Summit. During the two day meeting, the Senior Officials will finalize the negotiations on the documents and agreements to be presented to the Council of Foreign Ministers and the Council of Heads of State to be respectively convened on 10 and 11 September 2015 in Astana. In this regard, among other issues, they will review the draft of the 5th Summit Declaration and discuss the final version of the complementary agreements of the International Turkic Academy and the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation.
