The 20th anniversary of the Turkic Republics, was celebrated with an international meeting held in Ankara on 5-6 October 2011, under the auspices of H.E. President Abdullah Gül, hosted by the Office of Public Diplomacy of the Prime Ministry, the Centre of Strategic Studies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, AKDTYK Atatürk Culture Centre and Ahmet Yesevi University.
