The 21st Meeting of the Senior Officials Committee (SOC) of the Turkic Council within the framework of preparations for the Turkic Council 6th Summit Meeting was concluded on 30 August in Bishkek. After three days of intensive work, the Senior Officials finalized the negotiations on the documents and agreements to be presented to the Council of Foreign Ministers and the Council of Heads of State to be respectively convened on 2 and 3 September 2018 in Bishkek and Cholpon Ata.

In this regard, among other issues, they reviewed the draft Declaration of the 6th Summit and discussed the final version of the complementary agreements of the Turkic Academy and Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation. These documents will be presented to the Foreign Ministers of the Member States for their consideration at their meeting to be held on 2 September 2018 in Bishkek.

The theme of the 6th Summit is cooperation in the field of youth and sport.
