The 3rd Meeting of the Council of Prosecutors General of the Member States of the Organization of Turkic States on the theme “Strengthening cooperation of the Prosecutor General’s Offices of the Organization of Turkic States for an effective response to modern global challenges” was held on 25 July 2024 in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
Prosecutor General of the Republic of Azerbaijan H.E. Kamran Aliyev, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Kazakhstan H.E. Berik Asylov, Prosecutor General of the Kyrgyz Republic H.E. Maksat Asanaliev, General Prosecutor of the Supreme Court of Appeal of the Republic of Türkiye H.E. Muhsin Şentürk, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Uzbekistan H.E. Nigmatilla Yuldoshev, as well as Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States H.E.Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev participated at the Meeting.
The Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States delivered a speech during the meeting and emphasized that the current meeting of the Council of the Prosecutors General will further contribute to the cooperation among the Prosecutor General’s Offices of the Member States. At the same time, he stressed that the Secretariat of the OTS will also stand ready to support the cooperation activities within the Council of Prosecutors General.
The Participants presented information about activities of their Prosecutor General’s Offices and stressed the importance of the cooperation within the framework the OTS.
The Parties signed the Declaration of the 3rd Meeting of the Council of the Prosecutors General of the Member States of the OTS as a final document. It was decided to convene the next - 4th Meeting of the Council of Prosecutors General in the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2025.
