The 3rd Working Group meeting on Energy Cooperation of the Organization of Turkic States hosted by the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade was held on 29 March 2023 in Budapest. The meeting was organized prior to the Ministerial Meeting scheduled to be held on 30 March 2023.
Officials and experts from Ministries in Charge of Energy of the Member and Observer States took part at the meeting.
The Parties updated each other on the follow-up of the decisions taken at the 2nd OTS Ministerial and Working Group Meetings on Energy, the implementation of the OTS Program on Energy Cooperation (2023-2027) and its Action Plan.
They discussed the subjects related to exchange of experience in the field of energy efficiency, introduction of training programs on energy, cooperation in the filed of renewable and green energy, as well as the state of play of the establishment of the OTS Coordination Committee for Energy Cooperation.
The Parties also shared views on the potential for improvement of interregional energy connectivity among the Member and Observer States.
