The 4th Meeting of the Heads of Customs Administrations of the Turkic Council convened on 2 July 2015 in Bishkek with the participation of Mr. Shahin Baghirov, Deputy Chairman of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Gosman Amrin, Deputy Chairman of the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mr.Adamkul Zhunusov, Chairman of the State Customs Service under the Government of Kyrgyz Republic and Mr. Remzi Akcin Deputy Undersecretary of Ministry of Customs and Trade of the Republic of Turkey.

 

The meeting was opened by the Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Temir Sariyev, Secretary General of the World Customs Organization Kunio Mikura and the Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov. International organizations such as the OSCE, the Asian Development Bank and the JICA also took part in the official part of the meeting.

 

The meeting was chaired by the Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ambassador Ramil Hasanov. In his opening speech he welcomed the participants and summed up the results of the 5th Meeting of the Working Group of the Turkic Council. After that Heads of Delegations of the Turkic Council Member States made their statements and proposed several ideas in which Customs Administrations of the Turkic Council can better and effectively cooperate with each other.

 

The meeting was concluded by the signing of the Agreed Minutes of the 4th Meeting of the Heads of Customs Administrations. The Secretary General thanked the Kyrgyz Customs for hospitality that has been extended to the Turkic Council and delegations of the Member States.

 

It was decided that the next meeting will be held in Azerbaijan.

 

Project Directors of the Turkic Council Farid Damirli, Yedil Myrzakhanov and Zhyldyz Uzakova were present at the above mentioned meeting.
