The 4th Meeting of the Senior Officials of the Ministries of Education of the Turkic Council was hosted by the Secretariat of the Turkic Council on 9-10 July 2015 in Istanbul.

 

In the course of the meeting participants including experts from the Ministries of Education of the Member States, the concerned scientists and the President of the International Turkic Academy Prof. Dr. Darkhan Kydyrali agreed that the written draft of the prospective common history textbook will be presented at the 4th Meeting of the Ministers of Education of the Turkic Council planned to be held in Kazakhstan. The activities of the International Turkic Academy in the field of education will also be addressed at the above-mentioned Meeting of Ministers of Education. 

Besides this, the parties recognized the progress concerning the projected exchange programs for secondary and high school students, which will be eventually be reviewed by the Ministers of Education.
