The 4th National Youth Congress of Kyrgyzstan was held on 15-16 November 2016 in Bishkek.
Turkic Council Project Director Ali Çiviler attended the 4th National Youth Congress of Kyrgyzstan held on 15-16 November 2016 in Bishkek. A large number of Ministers, Deputy Ministers, bureaucrats, NGO members, youth representatives from all over the country and officials from international organizations took part in the Congress co-organized by the Kyrgyzstan Sports Agency and Kyrgyzstan National Youth Council.
The Congress, which took place after a week-long "Kyrgyzstan Youth Week" activities held across the country, aimed at an in-depth analysis of the youth policy of Kyrgyzstan.
In this respect, within the context of the Congress roundtable sessions were held where participants discussed the topics of the panels such as “implementation of state youth policy in order to promote interaction among the relevant Ministries and governmental departments”, “importance of local governments in determining the state youth policy”, “generation of favorable conditions for development of youth entrepreneurship” and “provision of framework on effective measures to fight against religious extremism”.
In his speech to the audience at the opening session, Project Director Ali Çiviler gave comprehensive information about the ongoing activities and projects of the Turkic Council in the field of Youth.
