The Deputy Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) Sadi Jafarov attended and delivered a speech at the 6th Ethnosport Forum hosted by the World Ethnosport Confederation (WEC) and the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Türkiye on 17 February 2024 in Antalya, the Republic of Türkiye.
During his speech, Mr. Sadi Jafarov highlighted the significance of the preservation and promotion of the Turkic cultural heritage and traditional sports, as well as the role of younger generation in this regard. He also provided information on the activities within the OTS in the field of youth and sports.
In the margins of the Forum, the Deputy Secretary General Sadi Jafarov met with the President of WEC Necmeddin Bilal Erdoğan. The Parties discussed the subjects of collaboration between the two organizations in the areas of common interest.
