The General Assembly was attended by the high level officials, University Rectors, Vice-Rectors, and representatives of the member universities of the Union.
H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev, the Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), H.E. Hasan Hasanli, the Deputy Minister of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, H.E. Prof. Dr. Adalat Muradov, the Rector of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics, H.E. Prof. Dr. Shahin Mustafayev, the President of the Turkic Academy, delivered their opening remarks at the General Assembly.
Within the scope of the agenda, the Turkish universities made presentations on the matter of strengthening and further institutionalization TURKUNIB.
During the meeting, a decision on adoption of new member universities to TURKUNIB was taken.
