The 8th Meeting of the Turkic Council Working Group on Economy has started in Baku on December 20, 2016. During the meeting which is moderated by the Deputy Secretary General of the Turkic Council Dr. Ömer Kocaman, the representatives of ministries of the member states and other organizations exchanged views related to the issues on the agenda.
In this context, support for small and medium-sized enterprises, economic statistics, improvement of the investment climate, incentives granted by legislation, exchange of expertise and information and issues such as the implementation of technical visit in these areas were discussed during the meeting.
The activities that can be carried out among the member countries in order to follow the implementation of previously signed documents was also discussed at the meeting.
Deputy Secretary General Dr. Ömer Kocaman, Project Directors Zamin Aliyev, Ferit Demirli, Assan Mazhitov and Mehmet Şefik Yurtçiçek as well as the Chief of Protocol Emre Yurdakul represented the Turkic Council at the Meeting of Working Group on Economy.
