The Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Türkiye, H.E. Ruslan Kazakbaev paid a courtesy visit to the Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev on 8 April 2023 at the OTS Secretariat in Istanbul.

During the meeting, the parties discussed opportunities to enhance multilateral cooperation among the Turkic States, focusing on the implementation of the decisions made by the Heads of State at the latest summits held in Samarkand and Ankara. They emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration to ensure the region's stability, prosperity, and development.

Secretary General Omuraliev and Ambassador Kazakbaev agreed to maintain regular communication and cooperation in order to achieve their shared goals and further strengthen the bonds among the Turkic States.
