The book entitled "Heydar Aliyev`s National Policy" by Hidayet Oruchov, the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Bishkek, was printed in Turkish language in Istanbul by the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States.

This work is attributed to the study and interpretation of the national politics, which is less examined but an important aspect of the political biography of Haydar Aliyev, the world-wide politician, the great statesman, the founder of the Republic of Azerbaijan and one of the godfathers of the idea of cooperation among the Turkic States. It was first published in 2001 in Azerbaijan and Russian languages, then followed by Turkish, English, Arabic, Georgian and Kyrgyz languages.

The author Oruçov`s book emphasizes the formation and realization of the politics of the great statesman Aliyev, in the framework of the historical events of the last quarter of the century that is left behind. The book states that during Aliyev era, national consciousness was formed in Azerbaijan, especially by the intellectuals who are the main carriers of the national soul were protected from the pressures, culture, science and education were developed, national freedom was established, the number of national staff was increased and strong agricultural and industrial potential was formed and thus the bases had been set up by carrying out historical preparatory works for the multifaceted and large scale national politics existing in today`s independent Azerbaijan.

This work will appeal to a wide range of people with its clear and open language as well as a philosophical and political style and it would also be used as a reference in the studies related to the Turkic world.
