The closing ceremony of the Turkic Council International Youth Camp was conducted by the Ministry for Religious Affairs and Civil Society of the Republic of Kazakhstan on 15 July 2017 at camp facilities in Zerendy village of Aqmola Oblast, Kazakhstan.

President of the Turkic Academy Darkhan Kydyrali, Director General of KazInform News Agency Askar Umarov, Advisor to the Secretary General of the Turkic Council Reshad Gasimov, Director of the Department on Youth Policy at the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Civil Society of the Republic of Kazakhstan Gabidulla Ospankulov and Chairman of Nur Otan Party`s Youth Wing Zhas Otan Daniyar Sunzhetpayev made statements to the audience comprising youth organizations, representatives of departments on youth policy from the city of Astana and Aqmola Oblast (region), local media outlets and journalists as well as around 100 young delegates coming from Turkic Council Member States – Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey.

The remarks of the honorary guests were followed by the mini concert of country delegations who staged the performance of traditional folklore.

During the week-long camp, the Youth participated in a variety of activities ranging from thematic debates and training programs to local trips and sports contests.

Another Turkic Council Youth Camp will be held in Antalya, Turkey in August 2017.
