The closing ceremony of the Turkic Council Second International Youth Camp, held under the theme of “Common Culture, Common Future and Young Leaders” and co-organized by the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States (Turkic Council) and the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Turkey between 13-19 August 2017 and 22-28 August 2017 in Antalya, was held on 27 August 2017.
Turkic Council Project Director Ali Çiviler and the officials from the Ministry of Youth and Sports participated in the closing ceremony of the camp, which brought a total of approximately 400 young people from the Turkic Council Member States in the framework of the two-week program.
Cultural and national artistic performances as well as the handicrafts prepared by the participant youths were exhibited within the scope of the closing ceremony.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, Project Director Ali Çiviler gave information regarding the activities undertaken by the Turkic Council especially in the field of youth and sports and referred to the projects planned to be implemented in the coming period.
During the 15-day camp hosted by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Turkey the participants took part in the local excursions, cultural and sports activities and thematic discussions.
