The delegation headed by the Deputy Secretary General Dr. Ömer Kocaman attended the commemoration ceremony on the occasion of the 93rd anniversary of the birth of the Great Leader Haydar Aliyev.
The Ceremony taking place on 10 May 2016 at the Sarıyer Haydar Aliyev Park began with laying of flowers and continued with speeches after the performance of the National Anthems of the Republic of Azerbaycan and the Republic of Turkey.
Participants to the ceremony hosted by Consul General of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mesin Hajiyev included the President of Marmara Group Strategıc and Socıal Research Foundatıon Dr. Akkan Suver, the Deputy Mayor of Sarıyer, Deputies of the Republic of Azerbaycan, busınessmen from Turkey and Azerbaijan, Azerbaijani students studying in Turkish universities and members of the press.
At the end of the ceremony the participants also commemorated and laid flowers to the bust of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, founder of the Republic of Turkey,
The Deputy Secretary General Kocaman was accompanied by the Project Directors Ali Çiviler, Asan Mazhitov ve Zamin Aliyev, as well as the Research Expert Dastan Almen.
