The delegation headed by the Secretary General Ambassador Ramil Hasanov attended the commemoration ceremony on the occasion of the 14th anniversary of passing away to eternity of Great Leader Haydar Aliyev.
At the ceremony which took place on 12 December 2017 at the Sarıyer Haydar Aliyev Park flowers were laid to the bust of Haydar Aliyev. The ceremony, which was hosted by the Consul General of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Istanbul, Mesin Hajiyev, was attended by the representatives of the Consulates General in Istanbul, businessmen from Turkey and Azerbaijan, academicians, Azerbaijani diaspora and members of the press.
Secretary General Hasanov was accompanied by Turkic Council Deputy Secretary General Dr. Ömer Kocaman, Project Directors Ferid Demirli, Ceyhun Şahverdiyev, Deputy Chief of Protocol Araz Salmanov, as well as the Research Expert Dastan Almen during the ceremony.
