The delegation of the Turkic Council headed by Secretary General Ambassador Ramil Hasanov participated at the opening ceremony of the ITB Tourism Trade Fair which started on 7 March 2018 in Berlin. 

In this regard, Secretary General Hasanov welcomed Numan Kurtulmuş, Minister of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey and Mevlut Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey to the stand of Turkic Council Modern Silk Road Joint Tour Package that is presented within the pavilion of Turkey. 

The stand was provided to the Turkic Council  in line with the the mutual understanding reached between the  Secretariat and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey to promote the tour package during the international fairs. The joint tour package attracts a significant attention of the visitors and visiting tour operators taking place in the ITB that  is the leading travel trade show in the world welcoming 10.000 exhibitors from over 180 countries.

Deputy Secretary General Ömer Kocaman, Project Directors Pelin Musabay Baki and Zhanar Nugumanova as well as Acting Chief of Protocol Araz Salmanov accompany Secretary General Hasanov at the ITB Berlin.
