The delegation of the Turkic Council International Observation Mission that came to monitor the Elections of Deputies of the Senate of Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the city of Kokshetau upon the invitation of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, completed its election monitoring activities on 28 June 2017.
Election was undertaken in a peaceful and calm atmosphere. 271 out of 276 Maslikhat Deputies representing 20 Maslikhats of Akmola oblast voted in the election. The participation level was %98.2. The election was run by two candidates, Dauren Adilbekov and Damir Doshozhin. The former got 256 votes and the latter scored 15 votes. The official results of the election will be declared by the Central Election Commission of Kazakhstan after seven days.
