The delegation of the Turkic Council Secretariat headed by the Deputy Secretary General Mr. Abzal Saparbekuly, has started the familiarization visit to the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) on 19 July 2016 in Jeddah.
The meetings between the two organizations was opened with the presentation by the Turkic Council delegation on the current activities and concrete projects of the Council as well as possible areas of cooperation with the IDB.
The IDB experts, for their part, have introduced some of the projects conducted by the relevant departments and institutions of the IDB Group.
During the three-day visit Mr. Saparbekuly, together with Project Directors Mr. Farid Damirli and Mehmet Şefik Yurtçiçek, will meet with IDB officials from various departments including Capacity Development Department, Country Programs Department and Special Assistance Department in addition to a number of IDB entities.
The purpose of the familiarization visit is to explore and brainstorm potential fields for collaboration between the sides and to produce a road map of cooperation.
