A reception was held at the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Ankara on 8th of May 2015 on the occasion of the 70th Anniversary of the Victory Day over Nazism.

The Deputy Secretary General of the Turkic Council Abzal Saparbekuly participated in the event which was organized in collaboration by the Embassy of Republic of Belarus in Ankara, the Embassy of Republic of Kazakhstan in Ankara, the Embassy of Kyrgyz Republic in Ankara, the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Ankara, the Embassy of Republic of Tajikistan in Ankara, the Embassy of Republic of Turkmenistan in Ankara and the Embassy of Republic of Uzbekistan in Ankara.

Participants included representatives from the Turkish government, as well as representatives of the diplomatic corps and NGOs. During the reception the guests enjoyed national cuisine of the countries which hosted the event.
