The “Ebru Art” and “Kalaghai Art” were included in the UNESCO World Intangible Cultural Heritage List.

The “Ebru Art” and “Kalaghai Art” were included in the UNESCO World Intangible Cultural Heritage List.
At the meeting of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage on 24-29 November 2014 in Paris the “Ebru Art”, the craft of paper marbling, nomination from Turkey and the “Kalaghai Art”, the craft of weaving traditional Azerbaijani women`s headgear, nomination from Azerbaijan were recognized as the world’s common heritage by UNESCO. During the meeting in Paris the committee also approved the jointly presented nomadic tent nomination of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan adding it to the world intangible cultural heritage list.
