The Fifth Meeting of the Working Group in Tourism of the Turkic Council has concluded on 19 May 2015 in Baku.

The delegations participated in the meeting exerted an utmost effort to finalized the Turkic Council Modern Silk Road Joint Tour Package to be presented to the Second Ministerial Meeting in Tourism of the Turkic Council. They also discussed the modalities to promote the Joint Tour Package once it is finalized. Furthermore, they examined the draft short video on the Joint Tour Package prepared by TRT Avaz as a promotional material to this end. The schedule of training programme, that have been conducted by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey for the other Member States, was also determined for the period of 2015 and 2016 at the Working Group Meeting. Continuation of the info tours and of joint photo exhibitions were among the decisions taken by the delegations to be submitted to the Ministerial Meeting for adoption with regard to cooperation in tourism within the Turkic Council.

The delegations expressed their gratitude to the hosting Ministry for the generous hospitality that was displayed. After the meeting, the delegations participated in the cultural city tour.
