The First Coordination Meeting of TURKPA, TURKSOY and the Turkic Academy under the auspices of the Turkic Council was organized on 24 November 2014 in Istanbul. In the inaugural address, Ambassador Ramil Hasanov, the Secretary General of the Turkic Council, has drawn attention to the importance of regularizing the coordination meeting and thus establishing effective cooperation among the organizations. He also gave information about the activities of the Turkic Council. 

Subsequently, the heads of the following organizations participated in the meeting have also given information about the activities and projects of their organizations;

- Secretary General of TURKPA Mr. Jandos Asanov

- Secretary General of TÜRKSOY Mr. Duisen Kaseinov

- President of Turkic Academy Mr. Darkhan Kydyrali

- President of World Leauge of Turkic Youth Mr. Ekrem Abdullayev

 

As the outcome of the meeting, the parties has come to an agreement on the issues such as preparing the Joint Action Plan aimed to increase coordination and cooperation among the organizations, organizing joint meetings and conferences, providing information related to the upcoming activities, designating contact points in charge of relations with one another, participating in the meetings other than the Summits at an appropriate level, and informing one another about all high-level calls to be paid, primarily in the Member States.
