Newly appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic H.E. Ruslan Kazakbaev, and the Secretary General of the Turkic Council H.E. Baghdad Amreyev held a telephone conversation today on 15 October 2020.
Baghdad Amreyev congratulated Ruslan Kazakbaev on the occasion of his appointment as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic and wished the Minister every success in all his endeavours.
Emphasizing the important role of Kyrgyzstan as one of the founding Member States of the Turkic Council, the Secretary General expressed the contentment with the process of normalization of the political situation in Kyrgyzstan.
Minister Ruslan Kazakbaev thanked the Secretary General and expressed his firm belief that the Turkic Council will increase its role in strengthening cooperation and deepening relations among the brotherly Turkic States in the coming period. He restated the support of the Kyrgyzstan in all the efforts of the Organization
The parties agreed on organizing a working visit of the Secretary General to Bishkek in the coming days and his meetings with the Foreign Minister and the newly appointed Head of the Kyrgyz government.
