The Foreign Minister of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) H.E. Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu visited the Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev at the OTS Secretariat on 17 January 2023.
Foreign Minister Ertuğruloğlu congratulated Ambassador Omuraliev for his appointment to the post of the Secretary General of the OTS and wished him success during his term in the office.
During the visit, Minister Ertuğruloğlu stated that gaining observer status at the OTS was a very important occasion for the TRNC and expressed willingness of TRNC in participating in OTS activities in the upcoming period, particularly in education, culture and youth and sports areas.
Secretary General Omuraliev thanked Minister Ertuğruloğlu for the visit and informed him on the latest activities of the Organization.
