The International Conference of the High Courts of Turkic States on the “Judiciary and Information Technologies: Modern Challenges” commemorating the 100th Anniversary of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people - Heydar Aliyev was held on 19 October 2023 in Shusha, Azerbaijan.

Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the Kyrgyz Republic, First President of the Court of Cassation of the Republic of Türkiye, President of the Council of State of the Republic of Türkiye, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan, President of the Supreme Court of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, and Deputy Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States delivered speeches at the opening of the Conference. 

The Participants provided information on the justice systems of their countries and emphasized the importance of establishing a platform of regular meetings among the High Courts of the Member and Observer States of the Organization of Turkic States with a view to strengthening and enhancing cooperation among them. 

At the conclusion of the event, the Parties signed Shusha Declaration on the Establishment of the Conference of the High Courts of the Member and Observer States of the Organization of Turkic States.
