The Junior Diplomats paid a visit to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Turkic Academy.
In the framework of the Turkic Council Junior Diplomats 3rd Joint Training Program, the participants visited the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan on 31 May 2016. During the visit the trainees were given a notion of the work details of the Ministry and its personnel.

After receiving the general information about the work of the Ministry, Roman Vassilenko, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, delivered a lecture on public diplomacy.

The second visit after the visit to the Ministry was to the Turkic Academy. The program participants met with the President of the Academy and its staff. The trainees had the opportunity to get acquainted with the work of the personnel, who gave short information about the institution and summarized their most prominent activities.

The program was also marked by the lectures of Adil Akhmetov, the senior expert of the Turkic Academy, the Kazakh member of the Council of Elders of the Turkic Council, and Ramin Mammadov, the Deputy Chairman of State Committee on Work with Diaspora of the Republic of Azerbaijan. While Mr. Akhmetov, one of the prominent figures of the Turkic Council, instructed the trainees on the topic of negotiation skills and shared his diplomatic experience with them, the Deputy Chairman Mammadov delivered a lecture on the rising role of diaspora in interstate relations.
 
In his speech Deputy Chairman Mammadov, gave information on the work of Diaspora Committee, how the Committee deal with the diaspora, role of youth in diaspora, activity of the Turkic Council in this sphere. The lecture was held in interactive debate on the basis of the questions of the young diplomats.
