The meeting among the High Judicial Institutions of the Turkic Speaking States is hosted by the High Council of Judges and Prosecutors (HCJP) of Turkey in Istanbul.
The meeting among the High Judicial Institutions of the Turkic Speaking States is hosted by the HCJP on 22-23 December 2015 in Istanbul. The meeting, which is organized in cooperation with the Turkic Council, is attended by the presidents and representatives of the HCJP-equivalent high judicial institutions of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
Participants discussed the structures, functioning and problems of the judicial institutions in their countries. The meeting is aimed at establishing a solid ground for future cooperation among the judicial institutions of the said countries.

Speaking at the opening, Metin Yandırmaz, the Deputy Head of the HCJP, highlighted that the meeting would further strengthen the already existing dialogue channels among the Turkic Speaking States. He said: “the cooperation among the brotherly countries of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey, which is based on a common language, history and culture, is today translated into another sphere of interest and will rise through the ideal of law”.

The Deputy Secretary Generals of the Turkic Council Abzal Saparbekuly, Ömer Kocaman and the Project Director Ali Çiviler attended the meeting as the representatives of the Turkic Council.
